第三种是最可怕的，因为无路可循。你无论顺着大路打也好，下三路打也好，都是反的。如果碰上第三种情况，你最好36计，走为上计。这种情况尤其是在大路破的时候发生的最多。

可以这样说，一个不会看下三路的看路玩家，只是一个初级玩家。老一辈的绝大部份人都是以下三路作为引路指导。

其实下三路都有其优点，但是易学难精，例如:大眼仔的长单佻，小路的长蓝，由甲的长蓝，等等，大路是由什么牌型组成，下三路的势确实是由大路形成的，比如大路的一房二厅，一房三厅这样隔开一列对称的，小路就是长红啦。
