陈某毕业于浙江某名牌大学，不甘平庸的他，辞去国企工作下海经商，不料生意失败。对人生失意的他寄情于足彩，每月收入除生活开支外，基本全买彩票，并到处向亲友借钱，欠债二十多万。走投无路的陈某在2010年11月的一天晚上，以修理净水机为名杀死6旬独居老太夏某，并抢走财物。法院经审理查明，陈某行为已构成抢劫罪，判处死刑。2 I3 g h$ z3 f& P1 t
近日，无锡市中级人民法院审结一起抢劫案，被告人陈某以帮助修理净水机为名入户劫财杀人，一审被判处死刑，剥夺ZZ权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产。
% C$ C m7 K' H! n E$ n+ p 被告人陈某为无锡本市人，拥有良好的教育背景，80年代毕业于本市一重点中学，并以优异的成绩考入浙江某名牌大学就读。陈某本应是人们眼中艳羡的“天之骄子”，却在大学毕业后陷入工作迷途，并一步步滑入人生的歧路。在被顺利分配到本市某国有企业工作后，陈某不甘平庸，辞去工作 “下海”经商。不料生意失败，此后工作始终不稳定，无奈之下陈某开始个体经营净水机生意。
& M& S5 G/ R% w0 N/ ]7 S# s0 k 对人生颇感失意的他寄情于足球彩票，希望高中大奖即可生活无忧1 |2 z; h% n0 @" ?% x% e" B# W' `
。陈某每个月的收入除了用于生活开支外，基本全部用来购买彩票。沉溺于彩票的陈某一发不可收拾，投注额由原来每月几百元变成上万元，并且到处向亲戚、朋友借钱买彩票，欠债越来越多，达到二十多万元。4 c/ N$ L7 f! Z0 d# h
走投无路的陈某最终将罪恶之手伸向了6旬独居老太夏某。
- q$ e6 B- H- Q, Z% F7 j 2010年11月的一个晚上，被告人陈某以修理净水机为名进入被害人夏某的住处，向夏某借钱，夏某不肯并赶他走。陈某恼羞成怒用砖块击打头部、尖刀刺戳身体、徒手卡扼颈部和绳索猛勒脖子等方法将夏某残忍杀害，劫得金项链、金戒指及手机等财物逃离现场。
