英国布莱克本的77岁老人伯纳德·麦克修核对彩票时发现自己中了11月12日开出欧洲百万彩票大奖，奖金高达100万英镑。不过他没有以打电话确认的方式领取奖金，而是在中奖彩票后面写上了他的名字和住址，然后将彩票放在信封里，让他的妹妹帮忙邮递到英国国家彩票运营商卡梅洛特公司。3 r2 _; S" ^9 F' F' F
后来，他和家人说明彩票中奖情况时，家人非常惊讶。伯纳德说：“我看到彩票后面有地址，而且写着大奖得主可以联系他们，因此我就把彩票邮递过去了。家人开始还不相信我中了大奖，他们问我彩票在哪？我说邮递走了。不过我并不担心，彩票迟早会寄到的。”5 E" C3 V0 v* X$ T4 t' {2 j5 E( g
他的一位亲友说：“伯纳德是个老古董，自己没有手机也不上网。邮递彩票的做法对很多人来说是很难想象的事情，但对伯纳德来说确实很普通。他看到彩票后面的地址就以为邮递彩票后就能领取奖金。他也不喜欢在电话中和人沟通，邮递彩票对他来说是最合适的方式。我们都在算着彩票寄到的日子，伯纳德从来没有过这么多钱，他的生活肯定会发生很多变化。”; `2 U2 U4 v: U) g4 H9 X
卡梅洛特公司的发言人表示，公司会密切留意伯纳德寄到公司的中奖彩票。如果彩票丢失，伯纳德仍然有可能领取奖金，卡梅洛特公司会支付给丢失彩票的得主相应的奖金，条件是开奖后180天内奖金无人领取。不过发言人还补充说丢失彩票的玩家要尽可能提供有关信息，包括购彩地点、购买时间等等，这样公司可以通过系统等进行进一步的调查核对工作。 王永军 |
