1、百家乐在传统的场子，桌的大小类似于双骰儿桌，一般被放在一个用警戒线隔离的地方。一般一桌有12到14个玩家，和最多达三个的荷官。1 J9 o+ X6 w& U* A

2、玩家只需要选择押庄家或闲家胜。还有一个选择是押和局（平手），但一般不备考虑在内。

3、在网上百家乐场子中，由一个虚拟的荷官发牌，而有实际场地的场子，玩家可以选择轮流发，或是指定专门的荷官发。

4、每个玩家可以选择押庄家或闲家赢。（就习俗来说，一般玩家庄家胜。）

5、如果某个玩家不想坐庄的话，就把鞋子传给其右手的人。如果庄家一直胜，那么这个鞋子也既是庄就一直留在该玩家的手里，如果闲家胜了的话，鞋子就被转给下一个玩家。8 U L' N) D' ^; J' d

6、玩家庄家或闲家哪手胜，或平局， 盈利为与金相同的金额（1：1）。押庄家胜的胜家要付5%的佣金，因为从长远来看，庄家胜的几率要大于闲家。# {' X4 V' X8 }) B" G3 S! j
. m2 a* R# f: j" z. `7、每一手牌有2到3张牌。荷官把两张相叠并面朝下放在鞋子（束shoe）下面。之后，他或她给押闲家胜的最高码的玩家发两张牌，同样面朝下。

8、这个百家乐玩家在看完牌后把牌交回给荷官，荷官把两方的牌同时翻开，并宣布哪家胜。

9、百家乐例牌有可能是8点，或更好为9点。任一方有例牌，就停止发牌。如果不是如此，荷官就继续发出第三张牌。

10、最高点数的那一手牌为胜家。输家的资金被收走。
