【MarketWatch芝加哥10月28日讯】週二，博彩业公司Boyd Gaming表示，由于消费者减少开支、新的竞争压力增大以及气候状况不佳，第三财季盈利同比减少了三分之二以上。

Boyd表示，由于拉斯维加斯本地市场以及旗下位于美国南部和中西部地区的riverboat娱乐城经营状况非常疲软，因此第三财季的营收同比减少了13%，降至4.365亿美元。该公司与MGM Mirage (MGM)在亚特兰大市合资兴建的Borgata娱乐城业绩少有提高，主要原因是业务扩张所致。
