当晚，叶开元刮开奖券，他没能中特等奖和一等奖的高级轿车，但二等奖的28.5万元现金，在他看来更加实惠。

“当时心里激动呀。”叶开元回忆说，高兴劲儿还没过，他把中奖的事告诉了妻子，“你这是骗人的吧，电视里都演了。”妻子的话，让叶开元心里像浇了一盆凉水。. S0 p0 C. ~ n4 B) }% q2 ?6 c* v: b) K

19日上午，叶开元抱着试探的态度，拨通了彩票上的联系电话。一名南方口音的女子告诉他，兑奖要先交1%公证费，也就是2850元。叶开元提高了警惕询问是否可以在奖金中扣除公证费，对方的答复是“这样不符合规定”，随后挂断电话。

接到叶开元来电当日，记者前往铁路局周边，并未发现有人散发这种奖券。

根据叶开元提供的奖券，记者看到奖券是一张A4纸的彩页，从中间对折，内页是对东芝公司和奖品的介绍，印有“辽宁省大连市公证处”字样专用章兑奖处还有防伪涂层。
